SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability is a core brand value and of the utmost importance in the production of each hand crafted piece.
Only sustainable materials are considered, meaning they are sourced from luxury offcuts, rare vintage pieces, designer dead-stock or ‘end of rolls’ - repurposing and giving them a new home, and more importantly, away from landfill.
This also means each item is limited edition.
Materials and cushion inserts are sourced mainly from within the UK, from small businesses and individual sellers - thus reducing the carbon footprint of the materials journey and supporting other small businesses along the way.
Inserts are feather, giving the cushions a luxurious look and feel, and are certified as ethically produced within the UK.
All packaging is eco friendly - only using recyclable and/or biodegradable materials.
Fabric is cut mindfully, to reduce waste as much as possible.
All products are British made, by hand, by Rose.
MY STORY
My name is Rose, and I am the founder of REPOSE STUDIO.
I studied Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art & Design in London, followed by a few years freelancing in the festival & live music touring industries. This led me to New York, where I lived for 2 years, working for a creative production agency, producing sets & shows for world leading fashion brands.
Back in the UK, with an enforced period of down time and time to reflect, I was lead back to my creative inclinations; with the fresh perspective from travels and the experiences I had obtained.
Influenced by colour, texture, print and British eclectic style, I wanted to create standout pieces for the home, focused on sustainable production, to be kept and treasured by the holder, with the knowledge that their purchase has not cost the Earth.

REPOSE is very proud to be partnered with ONE TREE PLANTED - a wonderful non profit organisation, with a mission of global reforestation, in the fight against climate change, to promote biodiversity and to create a positive social impact, particularly in areas of direct reforestation.
Materials used by Repose are derived from the earth, so this organisation was an obvious choice to partner with, to easily give back to the earth in return.
REPOSE AESTHETIC
Embracing a maximalist aesthetic, Repose uses clashing prints such as whimsical toiles and striking stripes, and an abundance of colour and texture to create unique, limited edition homeware pieces.
